Strong>Barrymore revealed that her daughters, Olive (11) and Frankie (9), objected strongly when told they couldn’t wear a crop top. On Tuesday’s episode of her own show, Drew shared, “My daughter desires a crop top,” without specifying whether it was Olive or Frankie. She recounted the conversation saying, “I refuse, and she retorts, ‘You were on the front page of Playboy.'”

Aged 49, Drew is a mother to her two daughters with ex-partner Will Kopelman. She delved into the importance of open communication with children alongside celebrated guest Christina Aguilera during a February 27th episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. Reflecting on the chat, Aguilera acknowledged the situation with a humorous twist, saying, “I knew this day would come when I opted for chaps. I thought, ‘One day I’ll face this…’ Just like my daughter wanting a crop top. I foresee myself handling this.”

Christina, now 43, is a mother to a son, Max (16), with ex-spouse Jordan Bratman, and a daughter, Summer (9), with longtime partner Matthew Rutler. Regardless of past Playboy appearances or risqué fashion choices, Christina highlighted the empowerment in self-expression.

“Even when considerations relate to the male gaze or personal Playboy experiences,” she expressed to Drew, “we expressed our individuality at that moment that felt right for us. It was liberating. Our decisions weren’t to please others. Yet societal labels and judgments often insinuate, ‘You’re doing it for a man.’ No, you’re navigating through your unique narrative.” Echoing her sentiments, Drew reminisced about her iconic Playboy cover in 1995, confessing, “I cherished every moment of it.”

Continuing her perspective, Christina emphasized, “It empowers you as a woman to embrace your body, your femininity, and everything that makes you feel confident,” she shared. “However, the acceptance must come from within.”
