Sean “Diddy” Combs' The lawyer released a statement in response to the federal raid on the rapper's home. Diddy's lawyer Aaron Dyer In his statement released on Tuesday, March 26, he accused the government of using excessive force to search his home, allegedly as part of a sex trafficking investigation.

The attorney denounced Homeland Security's use of force in searching Diddy's home on Monday, March 25. “Yesterday there was a gross excessive use of military force when search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residence,” he said in a statement E! News. “There is no excuse for the authorities’ excessive show of force and hostility or for the way his children and staff were treated.”

Aaron also stated that the rapper has spoken to authorities and has not been arrested. Aaron continued to call out the government for the raid and maintained Diddy's innocence. “This unprecedented ambush – coupled with a progressive, coordinated media presence – results in a premature verdict on Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on unsubstantiated allegations in civil litigation,” he said. “No criminal or civil liability has been established in any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name.”

After Monday's raid, a source said that “three women and one man were interviewed by federal agents in Manhattan in connection with allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal drugs and firearms.” NBC News.

The raid came four months after Diddy settled a legal battle involving his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, with whom he dated off and on until 2018, accused him of sexual assault. Following the lawsuit, Diddy's lawyer Ben Brafman denied the allegations and the rapper also released a statement denying the allegations against him. The two reached an agreement in November 2023. A total of five women have come forward since the end of 2023 accusing the rapper of sexual assault.
