Former Vanderpump Rules star Faith Stowers complains NBCUniversal over allegations of racial harassment, retaliation and, perhaps most shockingly, violent threats against her from her co-star Lala Kent during their brief run to the hit Bravo show.

Of course you should know the Stowers name. For one thing, she was a member of the cast of the fourth and fifth seasons of VPRwhich aired between 2015 and 2017. She was also the one who claimed in June 2020 that she was racially discriminated against by several other cast members, including Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, Jax TaylorAnd Brittany Cartwright. Stowers, the show's only black cast member at the time, claimed, among other things, that they had tried to implicate her in a series of thefts that she did not commit, and then tried to insinuate that they had not Honorably discharged from the military after eight years of service to the country.

Days after Stowers' claims were made Instagram In early June 2020, Bravo parted ways with all four cast members in an infamous decision. Of course, Jax, Brittany and Kristen have had something of a renaissance since then. They're all starring in Bravo's new series The valley at the moment. Now Stowers is back – and she's making shocking new allegations.

On Friday with lawyers Bryan Freedman And Marc Geragos Stowers represented her and filed a lawsuit against NBC Universal in Los Angeles. In it, she accuses the media company of racist harassment and retaliation. But the most notable allegation in the lawsuit is a new one involving Lala. Per diversity and others Stowers alleges in his lawsuit Give them Lala Star once brandished a knife during an argument the two had while filming season four. She allegedly held the blade to Faith's neck and threatened to “cut a bitch.”

Stowers initially wanted to contact the police about the alleged “knife incident,” which is understandable. But she claims in this new court filing that producers discouraged her from calling the police. Furthermore, Stowers says Lisa Vanderpump She herself warned her that she would be fired if she didn't find a way to get along with Lala. And if the knife allegation is true, how the hell are you supposed to get along with someone after that?!

The lawsuit further alleges that Stowers was only paid $5,000 for his work as a cast member in the fourth season. $5,000 for an entire TV season is tough! Afterwards, she says she was demoted to an unpaid position and referred to as a “volunteer” for the fifth season. That demotion, the lawsuit says, was in direct retaliation for her threats to go to the police or otherwise speak out about mistreatment. Additionally, Stowers claims that NBC allegedly warned her against going public in February 2018 VPR stories as this would be against the terms of their contract.

In a statement to the media, Freedman and Geragos noted:

“NBC and evolution [production company] clearly believe that workplace safety regulations, labor laws and basic etiquette do not apply to people on reality television. Vicious attacks, racial harassment, and interference with veterans' service are apparently acceptable to NBC and Evolution for ratings reasons. Faith didn't know what a cesspool she had found herself in and reported this unlawful behavior to her superiors. In response, she was demoted to “volunteer” status and stripped of her already meager compensation.”

Also notable is the behind-the-scenes story of this lawsuit – and the fact that it was only just filed. For one, per diversity, Stowers is about to launch a tell-all podcast about her alleged experiences on the show. And the fact that she hired Freedman and Geragos for the job is also significant. These two attorneys have recently represented other Bravo stars including Brandi Glanville And Rachel Leviss – Each of them has made allegations of mistreatment against the network and its employees and cast members. Rachel even has a podcast, just like Faith will soon. Plus, they have lawyers Also worked with former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel about their so-called “reality reckoning” against Bravo and Andy Cohen.

Baseball aside, however, this new Lala knife claim is CRAZY! Good Lord!! Do you buy it?! Thoughts, Perezcious readers?? Share them in the comments (below)…
